Tree House Kids

The Children’s Ministry at Oak Tree Community Church would like to welcome your precious children from birth through 5th grade to join our Tree House Kids! We provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children to learn about God in fellowship with others and grow in Him together.

Our nursery and classes are a safe place where children can have fun learning about God, Jesus and the Bible through music, storytelling, hands on activities and games. Your kids will experience engaging, age-appropriate lessons each week that teach them about the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus.

ACORNS: Newborn – 3 years old. Our goal is to care for and nurture children so they may come to know God as their creator, teacher, and loving heavenly father.

SPROUTS: 4 – 6 years old (PreK – 1st grade). These classrooms are a safe place, where children learn about God through fun interactive media such as music, storytelling, videos and activities. Our focus for 4 – 6 year olds is to know that the Bible is how we know about God, and then understand Who Jesus is.

BUDS: 7 – 10 years old (2nd – 5th grade). We encourage children to pursue a friendship with God, make friends with good people, understand their God given gifts, and begin to use them to positively affect relationships (especially with those who don’t know Jesus). Our goal is to equip the children with scriptural knowledge, including the old testament in order to grow closer to Christ.

"My name is Cora Hamilton and I have the privilege of teaching 4, 5 and 6 year olds in Sunday School! My goal is that, by the time they "graduate" from my class, they will learn: (1) Some basics about the Bible because it is the primary way God speaks to us today. (2) That the Bible is trustworthy. (3) That the Bible tells us who God is and why everyone needs a Savior named Jesus. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit would open the eyes of their hearts to understand and believe."
